"Expect A Miracle" (The Director's Cut) DVD

The main character, Ryan Gates, is a boy from Ohio who tragically loses his parents at the age of twelve. He is then sent to an Oklahoma horse ranch to live with close friends of his mother’s. During the next several years, Ryan develops a keen interest in horses, and discovers his passion for competing in a rodeo-type sport called “cutting”. Once Ryan experiences the excitement of cutting horse competition, he vows to someday win the coveted “Triple Crown of Cutting Horses.” With this as his goal, and now at age 23, he and his favorite horse, Pep, begin their quest for the Triple Crown.

However, life has a way of changing ones plans. And Ryan’s are quickly altered as unforeseen events put him in the hospital. It is there he receives the shocking news that he has brain cancer. The clock now begins to tick. Still set on his race for the Triple Crown, Ryan is now faced with an even a greater race: the race against cancer.

As the movie continues, Ryan’s life takes a turn for the better after he is coaxed into attending his first Relay For Life by his girlfriend, Chrissy. But how will this affect his quest for the triple crown?
